
Meet the Staff Darla Briganti-Director
Melody Gill Melody comes to us with a wealth of experience and education in dance. She graduated Cum Laude from Okaloosa-Walton Community College in 2001. She went on to University of West Florida and graduated Cum Laude in May 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with and emphasis in Dance Theatre. She is currently enrolled at University of West Florida studying for her Master of Arts Degree. She has been the choreographer for the "Viking Band" Half Time Show, a Therapeutic Dance Traininer (3 years), Physical Education Department Dance Course Instructor (7 years) and a Dance/Social Studies Teacher & Dance Team Coach. She has been in several shows including "Guys & Dolls", "Man of La Mancha", "Cabaret" and "Anything Goes" just to name a few. She has also won several honors and awards. Mary Lowery Mary has been teaching piano and voice to children and adults for over 20 years. She graduated with a BA in Interdisciplinary Humanities in Voice, Theatre and Communications, with an emphasis in production and performance. She is currently teaching voice part-time out of her home as well as the Oz Theatre. She will be the piano accompanist for Bob Browning and the FWB High School Chorus classes as well as vocal coach and performance consultant for the FWB High School Drama Department under Christa Whittaker. She accompanies and has sung with various choruses, churches, community theatre companies, schools, colleges and other community wide events. For the past 8 years she managed Emerald City Gymnastics in Fort Walton Beach and occasionally works as a freelance television and video production/editor for Emerald Coast Media. She loves working with children and loves the theatre. |
